Norway has so far received a total of 28 aircraft from Lockheed Martin. Another six aircraft will be delivered each year until 2024, divided into two annual deliveries with three aircraft in each. The Air Force is well on its way to phasing in the F-35 and will, through this measure, ensure sufficient pilot competence on the F-35.
The first seven Norwegian F-35 aircraft produced in the period 2015 to 2017 were sent to Luke Air Force Base (AFB) to convert pilots from F-16 to F-35. Until the autumn of 2023, a total of ten Norwegian aircraft will be stationed at Luke to ensure the necessary training and conversion of F-35 pilots.
Are the identities of the other two F-35As already known?wamovements wrote: ↑19 Mar 2021, 14:25These 3 arrived yesterday at Luke supported by KC-10 Blue81, serial5292 is one of them.Starfighter_F-104G wrote: ↑16 Mar 2021, 13:26 Increases the educational capacity of Luke
