Taking photos at the Open Day itself is quite a challenge. Many people, and many aircaft quite close to each other. (seacandyimages)
Details on the exercise can be found in the article Pitch Black 2024. One of the Scramble Magazine editors visited this year's exercise, the largest in the exercise’s 43-year history. It brought together 20 participating nations, including observing nations, and over 140 aircraft from around the world.
