After a nice but short night we started our travel from the apartments to El Bosque air base. Normally this takes
20 minutes by car at most, but with the busy traffic in the morning it took us more than an hour to drive the 17 kilometres.
After the security check we were welcomed to the celebration of the Air Force’s birthday. It is a very nice and
impressive parade that finished with the overflight of some aircraft. After the parade we went to the airport where we
hoped to see the F-16s but sadly they directly left for their home base after the parade with a KC-135E that came back later that day.
