This day we again went for a whole day to the airport. The Notams of the airport said that there might be delays on the |
airport due to FIDAE and this gave hope to see more FIDAE flying action. After 10 am movements started on the military |
side and after a display of an F-5, more displays started and this took four hours. After the displays both runways of the |
airport were open again and this was the moment for some more visitors to arrive for FIDAE. There were many rumours |
about aircraft that were expected but most of them were still not coming. After the Raptors arrived, we went back to the |
apartments. We packed our bags for the next day because this would be our last night here. |

After a short moment near the runway where we heard the aircraft landing, but with the thick fog it was impossible to |
see anything. With the sun getting stronger, the sky cleared up and just at that moment it was time to go to the press |
conference of FIDAE. After this conference we were able to walk around the aircraft that were on static display and |
found our place near the runway for the first demonstration of the Raptor. It was time to leave this wonderful country |
and take our 13 hour flight with the Air France Boeing 777 back to Paris. |
