| This flypast took place over the Colombian capital of Bogota, to commemorate the national Independence Day on 20 July. |
| This is an annual event, although it alternates in size and between Colombian cities, with the last few years held in a |
| capital of a department in the far corners of the country. This year, the event took place under a dark sky, but for the first |
| time, sizeable formations of army, navy and police helicopters were included. As usual, it proved very hard to obtain reliable |
| information about the event and its participants beforehand. Rehearsals took place at Palanquero, about 150km north of |
| Bogota, whilst most aircraft and helicopters operated from Bogota-El Dorado and arrived one or two days before the |
| parade. The formations followed Avenida 68, where some made three passes, others just showed up once. All but one of |
| 106 serials of the participants were taken in a sturdy two-man effort at the intersection with Calle 68. In order of their first |
