The visit of a WC-130J Hurricane Hunter to Curacao prompted local authorities to organize an Open Day at Coast Guard Air Station Hato. Static aircraft were open to the public which was contained to a portion of the coast guard apron. Taking pictures was hindered by the public that came out in considerable numbers to this hurricane awareness event. Irregular visitors to the airport on this day were listed as well. | |||
