The International Fleet Days were held in Anna Bay, in the heart
of Willemstad, on the island of Curaçao. Although many foreign
naval ships were moored, only a Colombian frigate carried a
helicopter, which had been neatly stowed away in the hangar.
Besides the local Coast Guard, the flying demo was dominated
by an F-16CJ from the USAF East Coast Demo Team. All aircraft
flew from nearby Hato airport.
