Also sticking out over the earth wall was a Transall tail marked F227. However this is not more than a tail, the rest of the aircraft is scrapped. Also seen were the tails of the R88, R97 and C130 5144, so the codes and condition of these need to be confirmed. | |||

Beforehand it was already known that this show would not be very big. Due to the court ruling from a few months ago the Meeting National was downgraded to a Portes Ouvertes and no foreign aircraft or warbirds were present. To make things worse, also the weather did not help. Like at many other air shows in Europe in June, at Evreux it was also bad. During most of the day there was a grey overcast with lots of rain and wind. However the French Air Force did their best to entertain the crowd, most of the flying display was repeated several times during the day. | |||
