20 August 2021
On August 20 this year, the Hungarian Armed Forces are preparing for a large-scale air parade |
in Budapest over the Danube, between the Chain Bridge and Margaret Bridge. |
Although the aerial program started after 9 in the morning, already at 8 o'clock many people |
started to gather on both sides of the Danube bank, and after 9:30 a good place had to be found |
around the barrier. |
The weather in Budapest played a bit of a prank on those who arrived, it was indeed cool and cloudy |
in the morning, making the photos a bit gray, but you cook with what you can. Of course, there are |
no complaints about the show! |
Before the program over the Danube, three Gripens with so-called "smokewinders" at |
the end of the wings, in the colors symbolizing the national flag, arrived over |
Kossuth Square, as the end of the St. Stephen's Day ceremony, flag raising and clean-up |

And in closing. The parachute team made jumps from the Mi-17 carrier. Here you can |
see the target tapes under the plane, which can decide when to leave the plane on |
the ground and in the air by their movement when descending to the ground, so that |
they arrive at the "target" during the descent |
