Monday 23 September was a national holiday and blessed with fine weather. A number of aircraft was already noted outside on the Sunday prior the show. As with a number of other recent air shows, also the static at Komatsu was disappointing. The influx of JGSDF helicopters during the day were disaster relief flights after heavy rainfall in Noto on the saturday prior the show. More preserved aircraft should still be present but were not photographed.
