| Esc.711 was temporarily based here due to work in progress at Campia Turzii. The unit participated heavily in the flying |
| display, twelve out of a total complement of fourteen aircraft participated in various displays including a formation flight |
| of seven aircraft. The based IAR99s and IAR330s also did formation flying as well as a tactical demonstration. A nice little |
| air show with the sun on the correct side of the public. The area available for the public is rather small and packed with |
| people until the very edge of the taxiway. The report is compiled from pictures taken from the internet hence the lack |
| of serials for the static aircraft and the many stored MiG-21s that were based here until being retired a few years ago. |
