In general we can say that the show produced a very nice list over the week. Unfortunately the weather was very hazy on
at least Tuesday (opening day) and Wednesday. Sand from China blowing inland your editor was told. That ruined the
opening flypast on Tuesday, with the planned flight of F-4Es not showing up. Combining the haze with coloured smoke
from smoke-pods is sure to create an awful sky…so forget about the pictures on Tuesday. The C-17 attempted its demo,
but returned after a short taxi trip. Even the F-22’s distinctive howl could not rescue its unimpressive demo.

Well then, how about Wednesday. Again a hazy sky (but not too bad I think), again cancellations, again a failed attempt
by the C-17. For some reason the products from KAI were a no-show; no TA-50/FA-50/T-50 flying, no KT-1/KA-1 flying.
Actually, nothing planned for the show took off. Even the Black Eagles arrived late, and did not perform that day. On
top of this, not even a single KAI KUH-1 Surion was present. An upgraded AH-1 was also promised, but never showed. For
some reason the ROK Army was totally absent. On the positive side; the locals were very active during the morning, and
easy to photograph from the show grounds.
