During the air show, as well as two days before and one day after the air show the famous WAVE spotters parking place was closed. During these days a special |
spotters enclosure was open at the other side of the road at the northern side of the runway. For a few ponds everyone was welcome there. |
The Waddington show organisation managed to get some not often seen aircraft this year. Like the Algerian C-130 and Australian Wedgetail Boeing 737. |
The Saudi Hawks and South Korean T-50 were here for their UK show tour. The Saudi’s only flew on Sunday. The weather seemed to be the major |
discussion point at most air shows this year. On Saturday there was only one rainshower in the morning, the rest of the day was good with sunny spells. |
The Sunday was terrible, with constant rain during the afternoon. |
