This year’s NBAA concluded its 61st Annual Meeting & Convention with 30,811 people in attendance. We consider this a satisfying number given costs of fuel, tightening credit markets and a challenging (US) economy. The total number of exhibit booths at the Orange County Convention Center was 5,302 compared with last year’s 5,257. Finally, a record-setting 139 aircraft were on display at Orlando Executive Airport. The following aircraft made their first appearance at NBAA: Piperjet, Eclipse 400, Citation CJ4 , Embraer 500 (Phenom 100) and Embraer 505 (Phenom 300).
