A Chilean Air Force ENAER T-35 Pillan of the AF Academy has crashed in the suburbs of Santiago. The two crew unfortunately didn't survive the accident.

Hi Christophe, The Condor is still flying. As a matter of fact, it recently came out of a 2 year or so overhaul. Not sure if it will be on the static. Note that the aircraft is a part of the 10th Group that is based at SCL, so there is quite a chance for you to see it. Have a good trip, CJ. www.cjva...

The serial noted above is not the correct one. The AF-1B (upgraded version as is the N-1001) N-1011 is the one that crashed in the ocean. The VF-1 pilot is still missing up to today. Note that the N-1011 was the EMBRAER AF-1B prototype and was just handed over to VF-1 a couple of months ago. Cheers,...
