Noted visiting San Isidro Ab on 10/2 was US Navy C-40A 165833 (VR-59). The aircraft departed on 11/2 -> US. Also noted flying were A-29B's 2902, 2903 and 2906, T-35B 1802 and two Bell OH-58 (serials not noted).

Verder denk ik: Ik vermoed dat Leeuwarden gewoon open blijft, wellicht 1 squadron F-16s eraan op Volkel. Verder reductie aan te schaffen opvolger F-16 (ik vermoed rond de 50 stuks) Als de aan te schaffen opvolger van de F-16 50 zal zijn (en geloof me, dat als het de JSF wordt dit getal nog hoog is....

Very nice pictures my friend, the last one is a nice one; once destinied for delivery to Dominican Republic for use as "Air Force 1" for Trujillo, but cancelled by British Gvmnt.

Tja... ik heb al ergens eerder iets geschreven in topic "Vervanging van F-16...." en het lijkt mij meer dan logisch (helaas!) dat als de besluit genomen wordt om minder Joint Strike Fighters (mogelijk zelf minder dan 50), dan is het simpelweg niet rendabel om twee vliegbasis open te houden...

very nice report, long time ago that I saw a report from OGMA. But..... only FAP F-16's? No Alouettes, Alpha Jets or TB-30's? In the passed the OGMA hangars were stuffed with 80 Portuguese AF aircraft!!!
