Russian orbat

Hi Scramble team, Any chance the Russian Orbat will be updated shortly? The last update there is over 5 years old, so it is not reflecting even closely the current status with all recent reforms. You even did publish it in the magazine itself some two years ago, so I don't understand why this isn't ...

Re: Re:

Another relative new group, also operating from the Netherlands, is Dutch Aviation Tours (site only in Dutch). Not a lot of tours either, with all being bus travels, so 'limited' to 'nearby' destinations. Nice one.... those guys are going to the ILA (Berlin) in June, although this years ILA is sche...

Re: Cheap travel

Hi, Budgettravel.com had an on-line poll for your favourite this and that's. Those included the following two lists, which I found rather handy; Favorite site for reviews Do you get what you expect? Or do you get more, unwanted, "features" with the hotel you book? http://www.tripadvisor.co...

Re: LFBO/TLS by Shunn31

Hi Shunn31, Although I like most, if not all, images you posted of this very interesting airport, I personally feel it is a bit overdone sometimes. For instance 10 pictures of the same RAF Tristar, 3 on the same Singa 330, 9 of the same Air France 380, several times twice the same a/c. Part of a goo...

World War II aerial reconnaissance images

Hi, Just stumbled across a site (Scottish :-) ), which is in the progress of publishing aerial reconnaissance images made during World War II; http://aerial.rcahms.gov.uk/worldwide/ As far as aviation goes, until now I've only been able to find two images of Berlin-Tempelhof, which were made in Marc...

Commercial - with Starlifter

Hi,

Some Danish e-commerce site (fleggaard.dk) has made a commercial which has a real C-141 in it.
http://www.m2film.dk/fleggaard/index.php?film=2

So far I have been unable to get the ID of the Lifter, despite I watched it a dozen times... The things you do for a hobby :P

Tripod advice requested

Hi, Although not meant for photography, I guess this is the best forum to ask ;-) I want a new tripod for my spotting scope (60x magnification). As I have absolutely no experience with 'quality' tripods, maybe you guys can help me on my way. As said, I have no idea where to start, but my requirement...

Re: How cheap and easy can webdesign be?

Hi, but still, if u "design" something, you'd want it to stand out I'd say... the moment I would find out an older site in the similar group (planespotting) was so identical, I would change it to be "uniqueish".... Absolutely! But I guess I have to revert my statement I thought p...
