The one day I have two appointments in Amsterdam and I have to leave work early, I get two phone calls - one from a mate who was just over the road admiring her, and another going on about how he had just seen her flying over the Jordaan - and I was in a data centre in ...

Re: EHAM 19-05-2009 MIL

I'm guessing there is some sort of activity by the spotters looking through the gate - I'm stuck in the office so can't see anything apart from the back of the hangar, but there does seem to be something going on - engine check perhaps?

Re: EHAM 18-05-2009 MIL

I'm actually pleased it is not today as I left my camera at home - would have been gutted if I missed it.

Re: EHAM 14-05-2009 MIL

I'm very much hoping the Lanc will finally depart tomorrow so I can get my head around to other stuff needing my attention  Me too - one so I can get to see the majestic beast where she should be, in the sky, and two, so I can stop lugging all my camera gear into work with me. Definately h...

Re: EHAM 14-05-2009 MIL

I've just been over there (I think I might have walked passed you Joyce as I was going over with my camera) The Lanc is no longer on the Apron - I think it was relocated back in the DDA Hangar about half an hour ago - did manage to get a couple of shots, though it is difficult through a fence. Is th...

Re: EHAM 12-05-2009 MIL

FYI - Both Dakotas are on the apron this morning - don't know if they are making room for the Lanc to wheel out, but if I see any movement I'll post it up here - likewise if anyone hears of anything regarding its departure please post it up

Re: EHAM 12-05-2009 MIL

First time poster *gulp* and in I go...... I can tell you that up until 3pm the Lanc was in the DDA hangar - I am fortunate enough to work in the office opposite where Gebouw 70 was, so could see out on the apron where she was parked up today - managed to get over the road just as she was being push...
