Re: EHAM 21-03-2018 MIL

Re: Frisian Flag 2018
The question will be for most air forces: Which ones are serviceable? And not: Which one in a special livery can we sent to Leeuwarden..

Re: 18dec2017 Polish MiG-29 crash
https://twitter.com/PBondaryk/status/943443014734794752 According to Polish MoD Undersecretary, pilot of Polish AF MiG-29 crashed on 18/12 DID NOT EJECT  ... Survived landing in high trees with broken ankle only - what a luck! Wow indeed! And testament to the robustness of Russian design ;-)

Re: Jordanian Falcons leaving Volkel (29-11)
Nice report and very atmosperic pic @ Aviano. I can't help but observe that calling the departure of 6 Falcons a "mass-launch" says a lot about local movements at fighter bases nowadays. ![Wink ;-)](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)

Re: 2030: Luftwaffe Tornado jets likely to be replaced by F-
Personally I think that the F35 will perform great in the early stages of a conflict against a high tech opponent. Later on when it becomes prolonged rough and dirty, other jets might perform as well or better agree! ( ...something with ''gulf war'' and ''tornado losses'' .... :? ) Maybe some old J...

Ah yes. I saw they changed it. And my comment was purely factual (as this is a spotters forum and such..) and in no way diminishes the memory of those who perished in this tragedy.

Re: 10th CAB helicopters heading for CONUS
Rumours suggest this to be the Steinweg comapny at the Professor Gerbrandy road in Rotterdam harbour (coordinates 51.896175, 4.287124), but this hasn't been confirmed. I can see no NOTAM suggesting a temporary restructed airspace around that area neither. So we have to wait and see ;-) Is the locat...

Re: 10th CAB returns to CONUS
If I get the location of Steinweg at the Professor Gerbrandy weg right, there is a park opposite the river called "Park De Lickebaert". This is on the other side of the Nieuwe Waterweg between Vlaardingen and Maassluis. Location Steinweg: 51.895767, 4.287052 Location park is roughly at 51....
