Good to hear you got a scanner!
That one looks like it would be great to use. Fast, "lots" of memories (working in a different way to the older "bank" system I mentioned), and things like the close call would be very helpful. I hope you have a great time using it.

Hi again, Sorry. I didn't answer your other question. Scanners like mine, you just enter in the frequencies etc on the front of the radio. Some scanners allow you to enter it via a computer, but I think they all still allow you to enter it by hand too. There is a new scanner just out that is done by...

Hi powermaccie, I personally use a Radio shack (or Realistic) Pro-60. It depends what you are after, i.e. if you want to be able to scan through lots of frequencies or if you prefer to scan a smaller group of frequencies so that you definitely catch the transmissions that you want.
