So...after 8 years it happend. I am not going to give you an expanded details of the airshow, my only problem was that the weather changed so many times during the two days that it seems I was on several different airshows. A photo heavy entry from me. Enjoy!

Great shots! Was the flame behind the Gripen part of the display routine like the RAAF F-111's dump and burn back in the day? Or was it some kind of engine surge? Thx.

Yes it is routine. If you do a google search with "gripen dump and burn" you will find more photos and videos. Altough technically it is not that, but many call it anyway.
