Much talk about Vasilik air base, west of Kiev.

The place of the air landings and hard battle between air landed russian troops and Ukrainan solders the night between friday and saturday. The air landings were repelled by the Ukrainan 40th Brigade (open sources). A Il-76 with russian soldiers was downed together with several helicopters.

A fuel storage next tó the air base was in the dark blown up tonight. The explosions lasted sevral hours. In the CNN reportage about it was sound of flying aircraft, Russian or Ukrainan?

Were is signs of action in Ukraine of the Su-30SM.

During saturday was 3 Su-30SM downed by Ukraine. One of them over Black Sea by missiles. During peacetime is 12 naval Su-30SM based at Novofedorovka, Crimea.

Millerovo air base also have Su-30SM, in these case 24 combat aircraft. Millerovo was recently bombed by Ukrainan missiles.

More Su-30SM was also forward based in Byelorussia. Before the war with 4 of them from Kursk air base. Certainly later strengthed by more of the 24 Su-30SM normally based on Kursk Khalino.

Byelorussia have 4 Su-30SM based on Baranovichi air base.

There are a lot of reports of downed Russian Su-30, 3x IL-76 and much more. Only very few have been confirmed so far. So maybe a part of these losses are propaganda, until they are confirmed.

An-225 seems to be history now. Pictures are not too clear, but it seems to be on fire in its hangar
