Got an e-mail that said I made the list. Needed conformation to make the travel arrangements. I think if you did not get conformation you did not make the list. As only a limited amount of spotters are welcome.

Third wave at 15:30 means also take off shots with great light as the cherry on the pie which is marvelous news!

WARNING!!!!

We wanted to spend the day around the Air Base yesterday. The camera stayed at the hotel intentionally, in order to avoid any trouble. So we just had water, snacks and our eyes.

Found a place close to a church, around 800 meters away from the fence.
A local melon farmer approached us in a very impolite way and told us to stay as he had to inform the police because we are watching the aircraft.

The police arrived and we were „invited“ to follow them to the police station in the next city.

There we had to wait for the secret service to arrive.

5,5 hours of questions, being separated for the „interviews“, car search….

As we didn‘t have anycamera equipment is was no problem, but anyhowextremely annoying.

I must admit that they all were extremely friendly and uncomplicated, actually the kind of guys to share a beer with.

When we finally could leave (with a handshake and friendly words), one policeman just said: „Why the hell did this farmer call the police??“

So even watching from a distance can cause trouble…
