Los Angeles-International 08-11 March 2022

Post by LifelinerOne »

Hello!

Work, family life and a short non-aviation vacation prevented me from posting a few pictures from my visit to LAX before flying back home after meetings. All shots were taken between 8 and 11 March.

For spotting locations I used the Imperial Hill, the Proud Bird parking lot and the top of the new Economy Parking Garage (which allows you to spot from there).

Anyway, here's an impression of this always lovely airport:

1. Not new for me but still nice with this background!

2. Flying Salmon B737-800 N559AS of Alaska Airlines:

Hi Anton,

Very nice set! Some frames that I wouldn't mind catching :)
Is the new parking garage walkable to the terminal? I'm asking because before it was long term lot C, there was no way to go to the bathroom if you needed. Had to drive from the lot, paying and coming back to pay again later. I'm wondering if they have walkway to the terminal now, so crazy people like us, who spend there all day, can go to the terminal to take care of business :)

Hi!

No, the new Economy Parking Garage is connected to the terminal via shuttle bus, which takes 7-8 minutes. I actually haven't checked if there's a bathroom somewhere in the structure and can't find the info on LAX's website.

Cheers!

Thanks Anton. Looks like the same situation as it was with Lot C, but little more shade over your head :)
