...took the Leopoldsburg lot
That seems to be the case, static only. I would be surprised if they do some local flying just for the spotters and would expect rehearsels to take please earlier that week. So I do hope they reconsider the times or change the date (better because of the light conditions).

Another twin-engined warbird is heading to Sanicole and it’s a type that has been only seldom seen in recent years in Europe:
a Douglas A-26 Invader.
This aircraft arrived in Europe from the United States recently
and will be making one of its first European airshow appearances with us.

took part in the International Sanicole Airshow for the first time,
but due to circumstances they were forced to cancel the premiere of their brand-new six-ship display with their

This year they return to Sanicole to show this display.
SYCAMORE HELICOPTER
The Belgian air force has a proud tradition in helicopter operations, most famously for search & rescue operations. Sanicole is proud to highlight this history with a historic helicopter in the flying display.

The largest machine they will present on the ground comes from the German army,
the impressive NH-90 Tactical Transport Helicopter, which will also be presented in flight.
This state-of-the-art European helicopter can carry a vast payload of 2.5 tons in its cargo hold or as underslung load.
The German air force will provide an Airbus Helicopters H-135 for the static park.
The final helicopter comes from the German Navy, a rare appearance by one of their classic Sea Lynx
which operate onboard German frigates and specialize in anti-submarine warfare and search-and-rescue.
These machines have been in service for over 40 years and will soon be replaced by the NH-90, so make sure to catch this famous helicopter before it retires!
