Did you Enjoy the one of last year?with most of the tigers plane hidden from the spotters?i didn t expect better things today that s why i m home ...Antoine wrote: ↑10 Sep 2022, 10:25 The spottersday is a total rip-off.
Almost none of the foreign visitors fly during the day, only the local Belgian stuff.
When you organize an event especially for spotters, you must give them value for their money.
Now they pay 60 Euros (!) and get nothing..... (only the same loud 90s shitmusic as last year, that nobody wants to hear).
Re: INTERNATIONAL SANICOLE AIRSHOW 2022
You're right indeed. Many aircraft were hidden away from the spotters last year and they didn't even bother to let those aircraft taxi along the spotters.57HEAVY wrote: ↑10 Sep 2022, 14:25Did you Enjoy the one of last year?with most of the tigers plane hidden from the spotters?i didn t expect better things today that s why i m home ...Antoine wrote: ↑10 Sep 2022, 10:25 The spottersday is a total rip-off.

But now the entrance price has even been 20 Euros more than last year, with the excuse that this year you'll get foodtickets.... to make sure that the foodstands have more income.... Spotters are easy people to rip off, because they easily take the bait.
As a matter of fact:
Yesterday, local people could visit the same field for only 12 Euro (incl. 9 Euro foodtickets) and watch lots of flying foreign aircraft and today spotters must pay 60 Euros in total and most of the aircraft flying are only Belgian. So you have to pay lots more money for less interesting movements .... Logical? Next time, let the spotters also pay 12 Euros and visit the base on friday, and let local people go on the saturday instead.

Re: INTERNATIONAL SANICOLE AIRSHOW 2022
For god sake, stop moaning.. You could also appreciate that they take all the trouble to organize these kind of events (in the Netherlands there is nothing). True, it was disappointing that some Tigers remained out of sight last year but I understood that these units didn't get or give permission. Also note that you were allowed to return on Monday (FOR FREE) if you had a ticket for the Saturday. Also the organizing committee never knows what will show up in the end. And also true, 60 euro's is a lot of money but all prizes are skyrocketing so why would this be different?Antoine wrote: ↑10 Sep 2022, 15:02You're right indeed. So you are free to make the choice to attend or stay at home and go fishing or something, but please stop whining and try to motivate and appreciate the guys who are organize the spottersday. Don't take this for granted. I think the Belgian Air Force Days will be at KB again next year and I am really looking forward to their spottersday!

Re: INTERNATIONAL SANICOLE AIRSHOW 2022
I guess everyone made his or her choice.
Nobody who decided to come had a problem with paying 60 Euro.
But they did expect to get a "product" in return.
And that's where all went wrong......

Re: INTERNATIONAL SANICOLE AIRSHOW 2022
Exactly. I think we all had a decent idea of what we would see (and not see) today, except for the unfortunate cancellations. However, if I go to an event catering specifically to spotters, organized by an experienced team and charging a fee that makes it one of the most costly events of its sort, I don't expect the majority of the aircraft to be in covers for most of the day. And I don't expect landing a/c that stop & turn before reaching the beginning of the crowdline.
