Re: UK Sea Kings to Ukraine
These are indeed the three Sea Kings operated by Heli Operations at Portland. Is it certain that these aircraft will all be delivered to Ukraine?

Is it known where in Poland it was seen? Or is there any photo of it?
Re: UK Sea Kings to Ukraine
Does anyone know where the (I suppose Ukrainian) pilots for these SeaKings have been trained?

Well, the helicopters are from HeliOps (a training company), so I suppose 1+1 = 2

Scramble master ???.
(for the number of posts but maybe not for the expertise.)
Are you kidding ?...
As a former military pilot, I can tell you that flying a small plane can only need 1 hour.
Operating a Seaking in a warzone needs a high level training far from the warzone !!
They were trained in UK, where sims are, for the beginning.
But the OPS part have been held in Poland, with UK instructors.
Btw Ukrainian pilots already followed an F-16 training course in the US. The USA have a/c sims, instructors and training areas similar toEurope.
Do you actually think that you can transfer a military device without trained users ?...
Last point, Patriots missiles.
Germany anf the USA said that their supply would need a high level training.
What a good joke !
It is "only" a political position. Shame on these countries !!
Just send them to Ukraine, and "strangly" you will find UK and US users, able to operate them...
It is foreign legions, as well as private companies, like Blackwater in Irak.
Was Blackwater worse than Wagner ?...
I do not think so !!
Re: UK Sea Kings to Ukraine
FNF Rafale, not sure what you are trying to say here. Are you suggesting that the SeaKings are being flown by mercenary pilots?

FNF Rafale, these 'ratings' ARE about the number of posts, it's just a feature in the board software (that you will find on most forums). I thought you would have understood that by now. Keep in mind we communicate based on mutual respect here and that applies to you too, even as a former military pilot. Ridiculing other members will be tolerated no further.FNF Rafale wrote: ↑02 Dec 2022, 02:48 Scramble master ???.

Re: UK Sea Kings to Ukraine
I never wrote that. UK instructors in Poland are regular service men. Their position is legal.
The Ukrainians regular trained crews have joined the Southern part of the country with the a/c. This kind of communication is always make when everything is done.
Keep you secrets secret...
On another side, I wrote that using merenaries to operate Patriots would have sense for schedule reasons.
Time matters !
Re: UK Sea Kings to Ukraine
Well, let's get back to topic: XV666 is currently flying out of Portland, so apparently not yet delivered. I read on FC that the helicopters have been resprayed to overall grey, by the way.
