PH-BKK heeft op de 27e weer een testvlucht uitgevoerd. Net als de vorige keer een aantal approaches.

Verwachte afleverdatum is 6 januari (aankomst Schiphol 7.01).

Weer een testvlucht nu. Hopelijk werkt alles volgens specificaties.

Niet helemaal, maar de aankomst op Schiphol zaterdagochtend lijkt een zekerheid.

Inderdaad rond 8 uur. Nu afwachten of de BKI of BKM eerder komt .
Nu volgt de ombouw naar premium economy neem ik aan?

In an internal newsitem, it was mentioned that 787-10 PH-BKK was delivered and that this year another one will be delivered. That will be PH-BKI in feb23.
It was also mentioned that in 2024 a total of 4 787-10's will be delivered.

PH-BKS jul24 cn 42505
PH-BKO aug24 cn 42494
PH-BKQ sep24 cn 42507
Plus PH-BKP for jan25 with cn 42502
Big question is what is going to happen with cn 60297 (the supposed-to-be PH-BKM). No word about that one..and as KLM states it will receive 2 787-10's this year, I guess (BKM) is not coming at all.

42494 zou BKO moeten worden volgens mijn (achterhaalde?) info.

Komt op/rond 9 januari terug op SPL. Testvlucht als PH-BGK later die week.
Overdracht in de loop van februari.

60297 was indeed reserved for EVA but ntu. It was then assigned to KLM. I have seen this in feb22 at Charleston in white colours with KLM tail. It was still that late nov22. Maybe KLM ntu now as well?

This has been discussed on this thread a few pages back.
By the way: the registrations BKN/R/T are not available and KL does nog use the -Q with one exception.
The original BKM was cancelled and then 60297 became available. Status of this frame is not clear.
Another frame for KL (42494) is supposed to be build in a few months time. Why would it take more than another two months to be delivered?

Incident: KLM B789 near Panama City on Jan 15th 2023, engine problem

A KLM Boeing 787-9, registration PH-BHO performing delayed flight KL-749 (scheduled departure Jan 14th, actual departure 22 hours later)

from Cartagena (Colombia) to Amsterdam (Netherlands),
was climbing out of Cartagena when the aircraft stopped the climb at about 16,000 feet
continuing into the general direction towards Amsterdam for about 20 minutes.

The aircraft subsequently turned around towards Panama City (Panama) around 380nm east of Panama City
and about 170nm northnortheast of Cartagena.
The aircraft landed safely in Panamy City about 105 minutes after departure.

A passenger reported the captain announced that the right hand engine (GEnx) was not delivering sufficient thrust
due to an overheating problem requiring to throttle the engine back, the engine was kept running.

The aircraft dumped fuel on the way to Panama.

The remainder of the flight was cancelled and they were rebooked onto other flights.

The crew reported the flight's departure had been delayed in Bogota (Colombia, before the sector Bogota to Cartagena)
due to crew illness,
two cabin crew had received injuries in a turbulence event on the flight to Bogota after being thrown against the ceiling
and then the floor in the aft galley.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Panama City about 41.5 hours after landing in Panama City.

PH-BGL lijkt inderdaad WFU zoals aangekondigd. Laatste vlucht uit Madrid KL1706 29 december.

bij de PH-BHP zijn het Skyteam logo en Air France-KLM titels niet naar achteren verplaatst.
