After a closer look I have to agree. TB 6 is 3896.
I also reviewed TB 2 again and that seems to be 3881. Can anyone else confirm this?

Or the last four are on any of the "remove before flight" tags!!! Just in case the canopy is shut so you can't see the ejection seat label.

Here's a large crop of Nr2's seat.

Could be the serial or not? This is in a lower position than all the others.
Can't find anything else, there's nothing on the tags that I can see.

Also a civilian Bell 412.
When did the MH-60 arrive? It wasn't out in the morning I think? I do have a shot of the B412.

It was there early on Saturday already. We arrived slightly past 7am.

Answer for nr6 was already mentioned a couple posts above.
Nothing for nr2. I posted a photo of the seat.

For Thunderbird 2 I have 92-3881 as most likely candidate, but that was not confirmed at the show itself unfortunately.

I ams till working on my trip og, but have a few questions regarding the show participants here:
-KC-135 57-1437 in the static was confirmed by the crew as being operated by 370 FTS, is this also the case for 62-3553 that flew? It is in the Scramble database as 91 ARW.
-BT-13A NX67579 was in the static. This is listed as having c/n 6814 or 74-6814, but is the former military id known? As a side note, this airframe apparently crashed in 1964 and again in 1973, both times listed as ‘destroyed’, so it is probably mostly new built or at least a composite anyway I guess.
-F/A-18s 163993 and 164058 were seen near the NASA area. Have these ben transferred (and got a NASA registration) or are these just stored as I saw mentioned somewhere?
-R5O-4 Lodestar N250JR (former C-60A 42-32186 and El Salvador AF YS-26) was also in the static, marked as US Navy aircraft with a white triangle with red outline and code S in it on the tail. I searched the web for these markings, but couldn’t find a unit that used them, are they real or just fake? See here for a photo: https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/10751361
-On the far side, near the stored museum aircraft, was also a B-52, possibly an operational one. Did anyone manage to id this? 60-0036 has been suggested, but I don't know whether that was actually id'ed or concluded as being the other Edwards BUFF in the databases.
-And finally in the museum is an UH-34 preserved in US Marines colours. On the web the identity is both quoted as ex USAF 53-4477 and ex US Navy 137856 (N9043P). Which one is correct?

Patrick,
The BT-13A is 41-22676.
Where did you get the idea that the Lodestar was El Salvador AF please? AFAIK it served with the airline TACA.
As noted in the last couple of editions of USAMOOS, the H-34 has been confirmed by data-plate check as c/n 58012, so 137856.

Hi Andy,

Thanks for the BT-13. That ties up with the registered c/n indeed.
Regarding the Lodestar, a couple of sources give YS-26 as serial after its US service, and that serial is quoted to be of the El Salvador AF here:
https://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/Re ... JR/1007744
If that is incorerct, please confirm.
And nice the H-34 has been confirmed!
Cheers,
