Parking at Hohn is allowed by the local farmer near the crashgate Garlbek (east end near runway 26) after Dalibor Ankovic has spoken to the farmer.

The fee is 10€ per day per car (persons included) and 5€ per day per person without car.

Thanks for organization!

Wich "Garlbek" ? There are two streets named like that. The one oposite the treshold RWY26 , or the one more west ?

Good evening,

I am aware that Air Defender 2023 related missions will just be flown in the morning. Does anyone know if there will be any activities in the afternoon or will the morning ones be the only flight operations?

Any hints are appreciated.

‘We’ as 312 SQN, will participate out of Volkel, NL. But we were informed that our wave times should be different from our normal ops. Landing of a second wave should be after 1800LT.

But not sure at the moment what the final schedule is…

According to an article on the website of the NDR (North German Broadcasting) there are different flying times for the different exercise areas:

When will the exercises take place?
There are to be three large exercises per day over Germany - each with 40 to 80 aircraft involved. About 250 take-offs are planned daily. The exercise areas will rotate during the course of the day, so that in the east (10 am to 2 pm), south (1 pm to 5 pm) and north (4 pm to 8 pm) increased operations can be expected for about a few hours each. According to the Bundeswehr, no training flight operations are planned at night and on weekends. However, this does not mean that it will be quiet during these periods. Regular flight operations - apart from the exercises - will continue.
