For Schleswig Jagel at easterly winds, what will be the best place to position your self to make pictures? Is there a map besides the number 3 and 4 on the airfield guide?

If you click on the coordinates, it should open Google Maps and that should be more helpful?

All are visible from outside, and good to read. Best is early morning.

Grippens are sheltered.

Can you tell if that is the shelterarea north or south for the Gripens?

And judging by earlier photographs, the remainder is all likely parked on the "Z-linie" west of the 05-23.

I'm trying to figure out if any of the participants may enter/exit east of the active runway or if all exit west (reducing chances of getting taxi shots on the east side of the base).

The aircraft are parked on the ramp north of runway 07-25.
For the grippens I would suggest the Northern shelterarea as I saw hungarian cars/trucks overthere. I don't saw any grippen

Slightly off topic;

If you are visiting Schleswig-Jagel for AD23 and you are interested in W&R;
We noticed a tail less Tornado yesterday whit fake serial “38+08” and AG-51 badge
It lays south-west of the main gate between some buildings and behind some trees, a quick search reveals no candidate for this Tonka.

Are you sure this is not "38+09"? There had been a GIA Tornado for many years with this fake serial. Not sure if that was a real one though.
