GAF EF2000 8
RDAF F-16 4
FINAF F-18 3
ITAF F-35 5
US F-35 4
UK Navy F-35B 4 (week 2)

Whereas ITAF appears to be a little unclear as they have a deployment to Laage as well during that same period......
that sounds good.

Don't shoot the messenger....., this info was received by me this evening from one of the participating units - no guarantees but at least some sort of indication what we MIGHT expect....

Note that the list does not say they all operate from leeuwarden. Could easily be that those ITAFs operate from Laage, US likely from Lakenheath, danish from skrydstrup, and then you're not left with a lot for Lwd

At FF they want all pilots to brief and debrief together, so everything is flying from EHLW (no covid restrictions anymore)

Except RNLAF F-16’s. They will operate out of Volkel.

If COVID has thought us one thing it is there are alternatives to face-to-face debriefing. There are various apps and communications systems available which allows participants to be present in briefings, albeit at a distance.....
Plus the fact that participants will, for financial and logistical reasons, prefer operating from homebase. Especially at the end of a year full of commitments and exercises.

And a few more from the list in this thread. Mentioned earlier but post has disappeared for one reason or the other so won't mention them again. We will see what turns up and who is right.

Italian F-35's will fly AM wave only.

I have heard about participating French AF Mirage 2000D. Any comments?

In order to plan a day off; arrival for FF, would that be Friday before the exercise commences (so Sept. 29), or will that be on the first day of the exercise, so Oct.2.?

Based on earlier editions I guess most participants (and their transport) will arrive on the friday (or earlier) before the exercise.

Arrivals are mostly on thursday (german typhoons) and friday (mostly others) before the start of the exercise.
