There yill be no flying activities on 26.08. from 8-11h and after paying 25 Euro for three hours we have to relocate to the fence to hope some flying will happen during the afternoon Family Day.
Sea King 89+63 will arrive from Kassel on the afternoon of 17.08. in it´s "strange looking" H-34G retro colours for 50 years of German Sea King operations. Perhaps they didn´t find the right Dark Admirality Grey.

The SAR Sea King from Warnemünde will arrive during the Spotterday. The special painted one will be part of the static. It arrived on 17.08. around 17.00h and should be flyable until May/June 2024, the months of the Sea King phasing out.

That hangar was empty today and the UAV is a mockup.

In addition, Lynx 83+07 (with 175 years Marine stickers) could be seen parked in front of the Lynx hangar near the civil terminal around 12.00 LT. It flew during the family day in the afternoon, as did Sea King 89+63 and W-3 0716.

Was this the P-3 that could be seen (tail above the trees) from the SeaKing platform? Or was this 60+01 from the dump?Antilliaan wrote: ↑27 Aug 2023, 13:01 Thanks Patrick, 60+05 was the P-3C on the other side of the runway.
