Re: Deelen Aloutte III

Re: Deelen Aloutte III
Triggered by this topic, I today visited the museum. The Alouette is stored behind the building (not a "hoop schroot" or heap of scrap in my opinion). The museum intends to restore it, outside only as the inside is empty, and paint it in KLu camouflage.
Also seen were the remains of Me.262 S21 WrkNr 130026/(9K+AL) and Spitfire LF.IXc (MJ874). Plus numerous bits and pieces of other crash victims.
Definately worth a visit, open in weekends.

Re: Deelen Aloutte III
Once “completed”, it will go on display as eye-catcher on the spot where the half-scale Starfighter used to be.

Seen September 17th. The All.3 behind the museum. It is white and tail has also blue parts, no serial worn. 1/22 marked on nose.
