The pilot of the single seat Rafale is safe according to the news from France as he ejected before the collision. the other two from the double seater are currently still missing. lets hope for the best for those guys!

Who is saying it was a single seat? (c) Last month we had a basevisit and 28 B's where spotted many with only one pilot in it. not a single C or M was seen, likely the are already transferred to MdM or even Luxuil. But the Rafale Solo from should be at St. Dizier wich is a C

It's mentioned in the links in the first post it was a single seat and a dual seat Rafale.

We'll see what was what. Lets hope for the best now for the remaining crewmembers, as it is pretty quiet around that bit.

Both pilots (a captain and a lieutenant) still missing, along with their jet. Apparently no beacons were activated on the this jet before the accident, likely meaning the ejection seats were not used

A video om the France 3 website shows a piece of fuselage with a roundel of the jet that was quickly located along with its pilot. It is grey; meaning that if it was a Rafale C, it wasn’t the demo jet.

A Dassault Rafale B and a C collided on their return from a refuelling in Germany.

For some unknown reason, the beacon was not activated.

The densely wooded area did not make the search any easier.

Stormy conditions on the return flight of the two Rafales
have not been ruled out as an explanation for the collision.

i think the two aircraft were rafale B but one was single manned plane as they usually do .
