It seems Geilenkirchen has some personell problems, according NOTAM the base is closed on August 26, 27, 29 September 2, 3, 5, 6, 10, 11 and 13. I think that is the reason there are no tankers at the moment and if they come to Europe they seem to be flying out of Spangdahlem.

does anyone have advice in to spotting at geilenKirchen?
In the autum holiday (28-10 / 2-11) in the Netherlands we want to go to Geilenkirchen and make some pictures of the awacs planes.
do they have a schedule or is it just luck to see one?

Vaak vertrekt er een rond 8.00 uur , maar als je voor die tijd ads.b in de gaten houdt heb je een idee wat er vertrekt en hoelaat en hoeveel.
