got just the Info that a Spanish Air Force EF-18M from Ala 12 Torrejon crashed near Teruel... unfortunately no infos about the condition of the pilot or what happen ....

An F-18 fighter crashed this Friday in the municipality of Peralejos, in Teruel.

The accident occurred at around 13.00 noon when the plane fell in a place located near the municipality.

As confirmed by EL ESPAÑOL, the occupant, a lieutenant colonel with extensive flying experience, would have died.

Pilot is unfortunately dead ... Airframe involved should be C.15-66/12-24 which departed 12:00L from Torrejon Air Base together with C.15-56/12-14 ,which was the lead in this flight .... 12-14 arrived approx. 2 hrs later back .... 12-24 didn´t ... again a black day for the Spanish Air Force ....
