This helicopter, operating as Christoph 28,
landed in a backyard in Flieden near Fulda
on the evening of Thursday, October 24, 2024,
due to a medical emergency at a doctor's office.
During its descent, it collided with the illuminated sign of a supermarket for unknown reasons,
striking it with its main rotor blades.
The sign was shredded,
and flying debris damaged several parked cars.
The rotor blades were also severely damaged,
making it impossible for the helicopter to take off again. Fortunately, no one was injured.
After about eight hours, it was finally recovered in the evening and transported by flatbed truck to Landshut (Bavaria) for repairs.
