Re: Cruzex 2024
How certain is F5EM 4871? Haven't seen it myself at Natal, but it seems to be preserved in Sao Paulo (last noted November 5th 2024).

Re: Cruzex 2024
Log was done off the back of my camera and there’s been little input from the tons of spotters that were there so I’m guessing misread for 4871.
That makes 11 confirmed F-5 serials but I think there were at least 12 or 13 or more. From day 2 there were 3 or 4 in the maintenance hangar depending on the day and at least 10 in the far shelters.

Thanks Jonathan.
Thats funny. I said to the guys I was with that there was a C-17 but none of them saw it so I put it down to heatstroke on my part!

Re: Cruzex 2024
At this point I have deleted a lot of photos but this is what I can verify at this point re F-5s:
1/14GAv 5 stars on tail and badge on intake (not always on both sides of aircraft)- 4820, 4834, 4841, 4846, 4861, 4867, 4807
n/m - 4864
yellow lines on tail - 4851, 4857, 4876, 4812 - presumably 1GAvCa?
not confirmed - 4854, 4871

Re: Cruzex 2024
This is in line with my notes and photos. I did not see 4854 nor 4871. Pretty sure these are incorrect.

5905 & 5962 were outside behind this hangar. Both no engine and both with a red cover over the canopy.
Further inside this hangar was A-29B 5955. You had to look carefully, it was close to the C-98 2706

Re: Cruzex 2024
I did not read 5916, but am missing one A-29B in this lot.Ian French wrote: ↑08 Nov 2024, 12:39 Noted 4-7 November
Outside
A-29B 5916 5941 5957
H-50
C-95AM 2285 BANT badge 229(1)? And 2299
C-95BM 230(1)
C-208 2722
Plus something smaller with a blue tail, possibly AT-26 4601
Was it parked behind 5941 and close to the blue AT-26?
