Both orders were already listed as 777-200ER (first as Unidentified Customer and KLM since December) but recently changed into 300ER

That must be imminent for delivery if it is wearing its NL registration. Anyone got any date/time info yet? Also, is the remaining 738 that Transavia are getting on lease still due on May 21st?

they changed the color of the aircrafts name from white to blue..

Correct. As I understand it, Cityhopper are a bit short on crews. However they can't hire in pilots to cover the shortage until they manage to train more, because they would run afoul of the unions. So they dry lease the aircraft to Air Express, and then wet lease it back. Hey presto, problem solved! :wink:

Thanks all for the info; it's a clever solution indeed. Any idea when they will have sufficient crew?
And when will they have time to actually paint the aircraft?
