Hi,

Usually the military bases are closed between Christmas and newyears day. Maybe some CHC or Bristow helicopters will fly, but don't expect any military flights.

Almost all naval personal is with christmasleave. The mil is only open for SAR duty's. But if your interested in SAR heli's there's a replacement for the G-JSAR and that's the LN-OLC a AS-332L from Norsk helicopters.

The new SAR heli will not be flying in the evening and at night untill feburuary, due to a lot of training that has to be done first.
