So the Vipers did show up ?

Left at 14.00 because overcast closed again.

Besides the Vipers, 3 RAF Puma's HC.1 dropped in around 11.30

Hi Maurizio,

Could be that they go to another airbase and not straight to Aviano. In the past, they very often made these kind of flights to UK, or Germany and visited more then one airbase.....

But I gues, in the end, they will show up again in Aviano

Cheers,
Oscar

That's right, Oscar.

Strangely they were cleared as for a local flight, than after 20 min in the aerea directed to BZO (Bolzano) and even more North!

The 777 was equiped with travelpod so I guess they knew that they werent going to sleep at their home base.........

Did they arrived in late afternon? If so they stopped somewhere before, maybe Ramstain, cause departed Aviano around 10.00lt and probabily will do the same on Monday.

By the way, the 555th FS made a strange thing last Friday when two flights of seven (Nickel 01-07, Viper 01-07) departed all with travelpods but all returned back (anyway cleared for round robin Aviano-Aviano).

Any suggest for this?

Hi Crizz,

Can you tell me where they are going to on monday? If they will leave EHLW and they are not expected at LIPA, then perhaps again at Spang or Ramstein?

And as we are at Ramstein & Spang on tuesday, we might catch them if we know where they are.....

Bye,
Oscar

Hi Crizz,

Thanks for your reply. If you find out on monday, please put it on this forum, perhaps we can do something with it.

If not possible, no problem at all.

Bye,
Oscar

Crizz wrote:Hi Oscar, as far as I have been told by one of the "AV" guys they will do a night flying mission on monday.

If they land back at EHLW or going to Spang I have no idea, sorry.
What i heard on radio is that they will depart 16:00LT.

After landing tower requested there departure time on monday, they said 9:00Z. But due to nightflying the field is open from 15:00Z, so they said that they will departe 15:00Z so 16:00 local time.

No night flying mission i think ?? :(
