Serious mishap!
WSO hit the instrument panel with his head when hitting the barrier!

I always loved "the art" on their helmets!

These 3 black and white photo's will be my last contribution to this item because I can't find anymore ! Simple as that!
Thanks for helping me out Mr.Verdouw and Moderator Hans to get these pictures online in the first place!

I also will use this opportunity to say thanks to every EHSB spotter in the eighties and beginning of the ninetees for being there and having so much fun!
Who doesn't remember the famous SRV wagen, Schilder, Hansje (thumbs up..), Interlas and Muis.......?

It costed me a year in school but it was worth while! (afterwards....)

Hi guys, I simply love this section, please keep all the great pics coming! My first visit was back in 1984 during the KLu Open Dagen. I fondly remember the Vkings doing their routine, are there any pics available of that Open Day? Would really appreciate it!

Since we are drifting towards the 70's pics of Soesterberg I found a pic from my late uncle who did some illegal photography in those days

Here you see a 525th TFS F-4E at the roller back in 1971.

I was only once at Soesterberg (I really regret that I have been there only once!!!) during 1978-1979, so a little bit earlier than the title predicts, but here is the first slide I have scanned - unfortunately with a flatbed scanner - from that era:
