With this change the current flights traffic will be moved:
* Icelandair will be moved to C-pier.
* No KLM, Transavia, and Martinair operating from B-pier.
* Lufthansa CRJ9, Finnair ERJ7, Austrian F100 move to B-platform.
A few questions from my side:
So, no more larger aircraft (A300/B757/B767) will be able to park on that side of the B-Terminal?
No Transavia flights during the summer season departing from gates B???
No LH CRJ's, OS Fokkers or AY ERJ at all @ B-9 to B18 or just less than now?
Is the old Air France lounge being turned into a future B-7?
With the 6 new gates, will we finally see the 'missing' B-16?

It can be a route proving flight for this ´new´ subtype, can´t it? Just like for example the THY A330 showed up in the beginning. In that case the flight is commercial, but also a little a test. So in my opinion it can be both.

Main problem with the 757 will be the way back to the US. Therefore several seats will be blocked in case there is a lot of headwind to save weight. Also plans are ready in case the 757 has to divert, that will be to YYR. Don't forget, the maximum range of the NWA 757 is less than Continental and US Airways 757's...
It will be a commercial flight and yeas, also a test to see how it will perform over the Atlantic.

B-pier:

Constructionwork will start after the summer 2007 only at the even side.
That wil indeed mean no large aircraft anymore at that side.

B-pier even will be as much as possible for KLM Cirtyhopper.

greetings,

Ger

Eff. 25th March, Portugalia will stop their flights between Oporto and Amsterdam v.v. Reason for discontinuing this service is the close relation now between TAP and Portugalia.
Last flight will be on 24th March (still winterschedule, I know..)

I got excited thinking cheap trips to Paris might be possible, but the schedule is useless for that!

Flights dep AMS 1525 and 2100; arr AMS 0815 and 2015. Handy for Parisians wanting to come to AMS for the day though.

Cheers,
Richard

Is that also ment as a repositioning flight then? Or will the aircraft indeed stay in AMS for 7 hours! :confie:

Sidenote: it can still be a nice flight, there is a Formule1 hotel (and Etap) on CDG you know......

Don't think so: looking at the times following routing is possible: MXP-SPL-VLN-SPL-MXP.

I guess you mean CDG-SPL-VLN-SPL-CDG? But yes, that´s what I would think so too, as the plane can´t be parked for 7 hours doing nothing.....
