In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

The brownout was also caused by two AH64. One was hanging 1 mtr above the tree i was standing under. I got pictures of them to but thats another topic
I like the picture because you see the pilot getting in as well.

A little bit off topic, but can somebody tell me where the mirrorsystem on the nose of this Swiss Cougar is being used for?

I know its not a Cougar but its little(r) brother but same mirrors on the Helog Super Puma.

I can´t remember I saw this before.
It's quit simple: The mirrors are used to keep an eye on the slingload, special during picking up and dropping of underslingloads. The RNLAF uses a loadmaster, as a third pair of eyes, for that job.
are there any photo's of the Cougar which was badly damaged in Norway, some weeks ago? I don't know the serial but I know it flew back to the Netherlands about two weeks ago, with a one time release.
