Was there 4 years ago (time flies) on Labour day.. during the day aircraft were only allowed to come in between 12.00 and 18.00 (due to quiet hours).Richard from Rotterdam wrote:That's Labour Day. A public holiday in Germany and the US, so no idea if this means less activity, but be warned...
At 12.00 o'clock sharp 4 C-141's came in.. nicely lined after eachother in front of rwy 27
Be warned indeed.. there will be very little activity.

After a boring morning the Americans made it up whit us in the afternoon whit Three Gallies Two Globby,s a C-40 a KC-10 and a C-20

the last 2 pairs of Vipers came in and 2 (of 4 present) Globemasters left as the police were sending us away.. No activity with 22 and 81FS but we were only there for less then 1 hour.

Last 7 remained on ramp, the 4 Air Guard Hercs are not read by myself. The March C-17 could be the 55141 but I am not sure (heatwaves, in April!). Can someone confirm/deny the Stratotanker is the same Alabama ANG one as last week? And I do not know the unit of the Gulfstream for sure. Is it 76AS as well? It taxied back to their area. The Dover C-5B returned to base shortly after take-off.
