Party-Spoilers/Gate-Crashers ALERT...
Possible un-invited guests at Geilenkirchen this weekend!
Okay, only on the "Dutch side" so far and apparently not before Saturday but this will not make the MP/Polizei any more easy-going....

We could very much do without them this weekend...
Short English translation: Dutch "greenies/tree-huggers/environmental activists" have announced that they will be setting up a "protest camp" on the Dutch side of the Geilenkirchen runway this Saturday. This in protest of the judicial decision to cut down the forest on the western side of the runway...

B-52
Hi. the 2nd topic at http://www.flugzeugforum.de/forum/showt ... 13&page=31" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; tells us to expect the B-52 at 10Local friday morning. But somehow I doubt it to be reliable because I can't find anything, anywhere.
Update!
Hi,
Update as of 12.30.
Still no other flightplans in the system for today (Yes, will the turks actually come tomorrow instead of today?!?!?)
Some 3 / 4 E-3s fly and perform t&g's. 1 Utah KC-135 left this morning and a GAF C-160 departed. Besides Swiss team with PC-7s made a fly-by (cross over the field) enroute to Volkel.
Flying runway at the moment 08
Bye,
Oscar

Hallo all,
Does someone knows how the lay-out of the static display will be? Don't tell me to go in the beginnning of the topic because i saw the pictures of some years ago. I just want to know if there's anybody who can tell how the static line-up will be THIS year. I am still affraid it will look more like a big fun-fair over there.
Big thanks.
Felle.
