G'day All. Any interest in upside down photos?

Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Nice pics Motty! I was at Williamtown AB in 2000 and had 2 nice days over there with a lot of Hornets and MB326's (now replaced by Hawks). Very active airbase but indeed the aviationscene in Europe has more diversity in aircrafttypes and counties. But for us your pics are very exotic so keep them coming.
Kind Regards,
Marcel Mutsaers

The grass ia always greener on the other side, as they say
Nevertheless I will be crossing over for a month or two in December Januari. To see as much aviation related places, museums a s I can
Including Williamstown.
Greetings
Ludo Kloek
Might I suggest though that you may not get to see much Millitary activity if you travel at that time?
Your best options to see much activity at Williamtown, if you have to travel then, would be the last two weeks in January if you can.
Cheers,
Motty.

I used to work on the MB-326s when I was in the RAAF.
One question, are my photos still visible to you guys or do they dissapear after a day?
When I come back to the message each day, I can't see my photos anymore.
Cheers,
Motty.

I will be in the Williamtown area at the end of this year (30th December).Might I suggest though that you may not get to see much Millitary activity if you travel at that time?
My main interest is military aviation museums. And if the occasion occurs some spotting.
But thank You for the info. Maybe next time around
Greetings

Do you know if it was your friend who was at Williamtown on Friday?
Was his camera gear stolen in Tasmania a while ago?
Cheers,
Motty.

Down under? Down up!
Great shots, Darren! Keep them posted!
Specially the F-111, we haven't seen them here in Holland for a while...
but they were very common during the early eighties.
The last pic of the formation landing of the two Hawks: wow!

heey guys
I am in sydney now and the wheater is bad thats why i got time to do some photo work. Amberley is a great airbase but not for the spotters. Only road where you can make photo's is old toowooba road and there is a dirttrack, about 200 mtrs before the base that leads to the taxitrack. from that spot you can see the airplanes take off on the other site of the base.

Here can you find some more pics of the Kittyhawk in Sidney-harbour, http://www.clubhyper.com/reference/kitt ... 07bg_1.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
And to Motty, great shots you made there down under.

G'day and many thanks Iwan. Happy to be here (well actually I'd rather be at an airshow / spotters day in Europe but anyway...... ).Iwan Bogels wrote:Hey Darren,
Good to see you here too ! Feel welcome, my friend !
So far I haven't seen your recent Aardvark shots with "burning ass" here. If you'll show them, I'm sure you will get some people to faint.
Anyway, hope to see you around here more often.
Cheers,
Iwan
Well, if you really they will like those other Pig shots, I guess I can show them again (later ).
Cheeers,
Motty.

Wow! That was a huge trip you made and a lot of aeroplanes to see.
Glad you finally managed to see some Hornets at Williamtown on Friday.
Thanks for letting me know of the photo forum here too.
