Just now, between 2005-2015lt the Cobra 21&22, Nasty 21&22 and Polly 21&22 took off from rwy04 for a nightlflying mission.

Eindhoven tijdelijke thuisbasis voor AWACS radarvliegtuigen

14-09-2007

EINDHOVEN - Vliegbasis Eindhoven is vanaf 14 september tijdelijk de thuisbasis van enkele AWACS radarvliegtuigen.
De toestellen staan normaalgesproken op de Duitse basis Geilenkirchen, maar daar wordt groot onderhoud gepleegd aan de landingsbaan.
Defensie benadrukt dat de toestellen, die in Limburg voor protest onder omwonenden zorgen door de hoge geluidsproductie,
niet na 20.00 en in het weekend vliegen.

Het eerste toestel, een trainings- en transportvliegtuig, verblijft van 14 tot 21 september op Eindhoven.
Vervolgens staat tussen 17 en 18 en tussen 17 en 24 september nog eens een E-3 op de vliegbasis.

Just saw some pictures taken yesterday the 15th of two ex-RAF gliders at the glider strip at Eindhoven: Cadet TX.3 XA311 and Grasshopper TX.1 WZ795/FSK. Both in full RAF colors. I don't know if they're there today the 16th as well...

This Ruslan has a CTOT of 1420lt. A readiness message has been sent so maybe its departure-time will be improved. Callsign is 'ADB 532F'.

Edit: earliest airborntime = 1415lt, latest airborntime = 1430lt.
