I saw a message about a meeting at Ramstein also. And there were some countries with planes that were not at Schiphol. At Schiphol there were quite a lot USAF(E) aircraft, so maybe they had some kind of ferry between Ramstein and Schiphol?

Just a wild guess.

Some data from the E-4 after departure from SPL RWY 09:

EDGE69 E-4B arrived at Ramstein at 16:00LT and departed at 19:12LT to Andrews AFB (Camp springs) MD.

Probably VFR because of the short distance between Amsterdam and Brussel and budget cuts :wink:

Also AFAIK it's RAF rather than RN, by the way.

Hi Joop,

That's correct. Most of the foreign flights in Ramstein this week, were here for the same meet.

Furtermore i have a question to Oscar Sannen. Oscar can you find out for me the callsigns from the visiting foreign a/c in RS this week. I'm also still searching for callsigns from the many US Army Blackhawks in RS this week.

Thijs, between Brussel and Schiphol you allways (IFR & VFR) have to file a flightplan :wink:
